PIB® Candied Papaya Cubes produced in Costa Rica from selected papaya fruit processed through a controlled candying method that preserves texture, sweetness and characteristic color. Uniform cubes approximately 1 x 1 cm, suitable for industrial and bakery applications.
Organoleptic Properties
Bright yellow to intense orange color. Sweet characteristic aroma. Firm and slightly elastic texture. Balanced sweet flavor with mild fruity notes.
Ingredients
Dehydrated papaya, sugar (cane or refined), glucose or corn syrup, citric acid, authorized colorants (Yellow 5 and Yellow 6), preservative (sodium metabisulfite – E-223).
Suggested Uses
Ideal for bakery, sweet breads, pastry decoration, granolas, trail mixes, confectionery and foodservice applications.
Format
Pack 250 g. Uniform cubes approximately 1 x 1 cm, ready for direct culinary or industrial use.
Storage and Handling
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light and humidity. Keep package tightly sealed to prevent crystallization or hardening.
Freshness Criteria
Whole cubes, uniform color, no excessive surface crystallization, no visible moisture and no off-odors.
